'Mary (Immaculate Conception)'

I have always wondered how that miracle took place. I have seen a lot of old masters' paintings depicting a dove appearing to Mary… but I have felt that Mary's acceptance of her destiny was the most important of the act. I wanted to show Mary in transcendence and in 'total acceptance' of the consequences that came with the "blessing".
